Chaudhury & Company

A commercial heritage hospitality space set inside an old Calcutta building, meticulously designed to transition from a themed restaurant into a true cultural institution reviving Bengal's disappearing pice hotel dining culture. Tactile, historically honest materials like red oxide flooring, cast-iron railings, and classic green shutters set the stage. Narrative art installations, a traditional kheror khata ledger, and a unique Nag Keshar chandelier wrapped in raw gamcha fabric tell stories of migrant lives and 19th-century Calcutta history.
